Santa Rosa (Barcelona Metro)
Santa Rosa is a Barcelona Metro station in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, a suburb of Barcelona (Catalonia, Spain). It's served by L9 (orange line). The station opened in September 2011 in a previously built line section between Fondo and Can Peixauet. Its only entrance is in Avinguda dels Banús at the intersection with Carrer d'Irlanda. Its platforms are 108 metres long and located 44 m. under the street level. The area around the station underwent a refurbishment including a new square. The Barcelona Metro (Catalan and Spanish: ) is an extensive network of rapid transit electrified railway lines that run mostly underground in central Barcelona and into the city's suburbs. It is part of the larger public transport system of Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, Spain, with unified fares under the (ATM) scheme. As of 2014, the network is operated by two separate companies: (TMB) and (FGC). It is made up of 12 lines, combining the lines owned by the two companies. Santa Coloma de Gramenet () informally simply known as Santa Coloma (in Spanish: Santa Coloma de Gramanet, historically also known as ''Gramenet de Besòs'') is a municipality in Catalonia, Spain. Fondo (Barcelona Metro)
Fondo is a Barcelona Metro station in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is served by two metro lines, L1 (red line), of which it is the northern terminus, and L9 (orange line). It was built in 1992 under Camí Fondo de Badalona, in the neighbourhood of Fondo (hence the name), between Carrer Dalmau and Carrer Verdi. It began to serve L9 (orange line) on 13 December 2009, providing a transfer to the first part of Line 9 that was opened, which initially ran between Can Zam and Can Peixauet. Can Peixauet is the name of a Barcelona Metro line 9 station named after Avinguda de Can Peixauet, situated in Santa Coloma de Gramenet municipality. The station was opened in December 2009 with the opening of the line from Can Zam to this station. It is located under Avinguda de Can Peixauet and Avinguda de Santa Coloma, and it was built like many other new L9 metro stations with a 40-metres-depth and 25-metres-diameter well. The station is divided into four levels: the upper hall, the pre-platform, the upper platform and the lower platform. Public transport in Santa Coloma de Gramenet (Catalonia, Spain) is an important part of the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona transportation network. Santa Coloma is a densely populated suburb of the city of Barcelona which fulfills both the role of dormitory town and one of the biggest settlements in the capital's urban area, at around 120,000 inhabitants, and is straddled by Barcelona's Nou Barris and Sant Andreu districts, Badalona, Sant Adrià de Besòs and Montcada i Reixac.
