Sandy Beach (video Game)
''Sandy Beach'' is a video game developed by Frozen Codebase and published by Konami for the Wii's WiiWare digital distribution service. It has been released in North America, Japan and the PAL region. Gameplay ''Sandy Beach'' contains two distinct game modes: a freeform sandbox mode where the player (and a friend with a second controller) is able to build a sandcastle on a beach without distraction, and a tower defense-inspired "Crab Battle" mode where a single player must defend a sandcastle from waves of attacking crabs, repairing it after each attack. The Crab Battle mode sees players using the motion controls of the Wii Remote to slap them away, while they can also place defensive walls and cannons around the castle to create further obstacles. Frozen Codebase
Frozen Codebase was an independent video game developer founded in 2006 by Ben Geisler. The company developed games for Xbox 360, Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 3, Wii and WiiWare. History On May 16, 2008, Frozen Codebase and the Women's Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA), announced a license agreement for Frozen Codebase to produce a video game based upon the sport of Roller Derby. On July 22, 2009, Konami and Adult Swim announced that Frozen Codebase is the developer of the ''Metalocalypse'' video game ''Metalocalypse: Dethgame'', a PS3 and Xbox 360 downloadable game. Sandcastle
Sand art is the practice of modelling sand into an artistic form, such as sand brushing, sand sculpting, sand painting, or creating sand bottles. A sandcastle is a type of sand sculpture resembling a miniature building, often a castle. The drip castle variation uses wet sand that is dribbled down to form organic shapes before the sands dries. Most sand play takes place on sandy beaches, where the two basic building ingredients, sand and water, are available in abundance. Some sand play occurs in dry sandpits and sandboxes, though mostly by children and rarely for art forms. Tidal beaches generally have sand that limits height and structure because of the shape of the sand grains.
