Sandro Cunha
Sandro Fernando Silva Cunha (born 5 December 1982) is a Portuguese former professional footballer who played as a central defender. Club career Born in Fafe, Braga District, Cunha spent five of his first six seasons as a senior in the third division, in representation of AD Fafe, FC Porto B, G.D. Tourizense and F.C. Lixa. In 2007 he upgraded to the Segunda Liga, where he first appeared with S.C. Olhanense. In the 2010–11 campaign, Cunha contributed 29 games and two goals as Gil Vicente F.C. returned to the Primeira Liga after an absence of five years. He made his debut in the competition on 12 August 2011, playing the full 90 minutes in the 2–2 home draw against S.L. Benfica. His first goal arrived on 19 May 2013, but in a 1–3 home loss to G.D. Fafe () is a municipality in the northern Portuguese district of Braga. The population in 2021 was 48,502, in an area of approximately (. The city itself had a population of 14,144 in 2001. The present mayor is Antero Barbosa, elected by the Socialist Party. The municipal holiday is May 16. SIC Notícias () is the cable news channel of the Portuguese television network SIC (''Sociedade Independente de Comunicação'') and the second thematic channel of the station. The 2014–15 Campeonato Nacional de Seniores was the second season of the third-tier football league in Portugal. It began on August 24, 2014 and finished on June 14, 2015. Overview The league was divided in eight series of 10 clubs placed geographically, with the exception of teams from Madeira Islands (divided through the first series) and from the Azores Islands (divided through the last series). After a First Stage in a home-and-away system, the first two best placed teams of each league played in two groups of 8 teams in a Second Stage with each league winner earning a promotion to the LigaPro, plus a two-round play-off winner between the two second placed teams. The two group winners then played a Grand Final on neutral ground for the overall Campeonato Nacional title.
