Sandeep Kumar (racing Driver)
Sandeep Kumar Ambalavanan is an Indian racing driver and attorney by profession. Sandeep has been racing from the age of 14, starting from karting and climbing the ladder into the formula and saloon car racing categories like Volkswagen India Polo R Cup, MRF F1600, JK Formula India, JK LGB F4, Formula Fissme, Formula Swift and Rotax Max Karting Championships. His win in the 2012 National Volkswagen Polo R Cup India Championship earned him a scholarship to race in the 2013 European Scirocco R Cup Championship. In 2020 he became the champion of JK Tyre LGB Formula 4 National Championship, held in Kari Motor Speedway (Chettipalayam), Coimbatore. 2011 JK Racing Asia Series
The 2011 JK Racing Asia Series was the first season of the rebranded Formula BMW Pacific Series, which ran for seven seasons in Asia. The championship began on 9 April in Sepang and was scheduled to finish on 30 October in India after eighteen races held at six meetings. However, due to unexpected cancellations, the final meeting was held on 4 December in Sepang. Nine teams fielded 28 full-time and guest drivers during the tour. Austrian rookie Lucas Auer, the nephew of Formula 1 driver Gerhard Berger became the 2011 JK Racing Asia Series Driver Champion with 292 points after scoring 17 podium finishes from 18 races with 7 wins. The 2012 JK Racing Asia Series season was the ninth season of the former Formula BMW Pacific series, and the second under its new name of the JK Racing Asia Series. MRF Racing is an Indian racing team that competes in car racing and rallies. Formula Racing MRF built is first Formula 3 car in 1997. MRF in collaboration with Maruti established the Formula Maruti racing, a single-seater, open wheel class motorsport racing event for race cars made in India. MRF Challenge is an open-wheel motorsport formula based series organized by Madras Motor Sports Club in association with MRF. 2022 Indian Racing League
The 2022 Indian Racing League was a single seater motor racing championship held across India. The series served as a revised reboot of the X1 Racing League and was originally planned to be run alongside the Formula Regional Indian Championship and F4 Indian Championship. These two championships were delayed to 2023, but the Indian Racing League still went ahead. Akhil Rabindra (Hyderabad Blackbirds) won the drivers' title, while Godspeed Kochi won the teams' championship. The 2023 MRF Formula 2000 season was the ninth running of the Formula 2000-level single-seater championship in India previously known as the MRF Challenge. This was the second season of the championship restarted in 2022 without support of the FIA and simply called MRF Formula 2000, with the field consisting of domestic drivers rather than foreign racers competing over the European and Northern American off-season.
