The Samoan women's national cricket team, nicknamed the ''Nafanua'', represents the Independent State of Samoa in international women's cricket. It is organised by the game's governing body in the country, the Samoa International Cricket Association (SICA). The 2013 ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier was an international cricket tournament held in Dublin, Republic of Ireland, Ireland, from 23 July to 1 August 2013. The tournament was the inaugural edition of the ICC Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier, Women's World Twenty20 Qualifier, with the top three teams advancing to the 2014 ICC Women's World Twenty20, 2014 World Twenty20 in Bangladesh. Japan Women's National Cricket Team
The Japan women's national cricket team is the team that represents the country of Japan in international women's cricket matches. In April 2018, the International Cricket Council (ICC) decided to grant full Women's Twenty20 International (WT20I) status to all its members. Therefore, all Twenty20 matches played between Japan women and other ICC members since 1 July 2018 have been a full WT20I. History They made their international debut at the 2003 IWCC Trophy in the Netherlands. These were the first ODI matches played by any Japanese team, with the Japanese men's team yet to play at that level. Tuanaimato is a geographical area near Apia, Samoa. It is the site of the one hundred acre Faleata Sporting Complex which houses, among other facilities, a 12,000 seater soccer stadium (home of Tuanaimato Breeze, a Samoan soccer team), a baseball stadium, hockey fields and an 'aquatic centre' (for swimming, diving, synchronised swimming and water polo). Kilikiti
Kilikiti is one of several forms of the game of cricket. Originating in Samoa (English missionaries introduced their game of cricket in the early 19th century), it spread throughout Polynesia and can now be found around the world in areas with strong Polynesian populations. The game is the national sport of Samoa, and is played in many other Pacific countries, including amongst the Pacific Islander diaspora in New Zealand.
