Sambrook's Brewery
Sambrook's Brewery is a British brewery, based in Battersea, London It started brewing in 2008. It was founded by Duncan Sambrook, who had been an accountant for Deloitte, with support from David Welsh, the former owner of the Ringwood Brewery. The head brewer is Sean Knight, a native of Cape Town, South Africa. As of November 2016, the brewery is producing 180 hectolitres per annum, and bottling is done in Broadstairs, Kent, in a facility also used by Ramsgate and Westerham breweries. Since 2016 the brewery has brewed the Watneys brand of beers on behalf of Brands Reunited, the current owner of this former London beer brand. Battersea
Battersea is a large district in south London, part of the London Borough of Wandsworth, England. It is centred southwest of Charing Cross and extends along the south bank of the River Thames. It includes the Battersea Park. History Battersea is mentioned in the few surviving Anglo-Saxon geographical accounts as ''Badrices īeg'' meaning "Badric's Island" and later "Patrisey". As with many former parishes beside tidal flood plains the lowest land was reclaimed for agriculture by draining marshland and building culverts for streams. Ringwood Brewery
Ringwood Brewery is a small brewery on the edge of the New Forest in Hampshire, England, near the Dorset border. It produces mainly cask ales and some bottled beers. The emblem for the brewery is a boar. There are records from the early 19th century of four breweries, one owned by a banker named Stephen Tunks, that stood on the site of the present day Ringwood Brewery. Of the four, none survive today. The last to close was Carters on West Street, in 1923. In 1978, Ringwood Brewery was established. Broadstairs is a coastal town on the Isle of Thanet in the Thanet district of east Kent, England, about east of London. Young's
Young's (Young & Co.'s Brewery Plc) is a British pub chain operating nearly 220 pubs. The company was founded as a brewery in 1831 by Charles Young and Anthony Bainbridge when they purchased the Ram Brewery in Wandsworth. The company closed the Ram Brewery in 2006, and the brewing operation was transferred to a new company, Wells & Young's Brewing Company Ltd, which was a joint brewing venture with Charles Wells Brewery.
