Salvatore D'Elia
Salvatore D'Elia (born 10 February 1989) is an Italian footballer who plays as a left-back for Chieri in the Italian Serie D. Club career Juventus D'Elia started his career working his way through the Juventus youth ranks since , before he made his way to the ''Primavera'' youth squad in 2007. After being promoted from the youth sector of the Turin-based club, D'Elia was sent out on loan the following season. Loan Stints He never managed a senior team debut with Juventus, but after graduating the youth team in July 2009, he was loaned out to third-tier club, A.S. Figline, along with teammates, Marco Duravia, Nicola Cosentini, and Alessandro D'Antoni. He made 18 appearances in his first season with the club, and returned to Juventus on 2 July 2010. The 2011–12 Serie A (known as the Serie A TIM after its headline sponsors) was the 110th season of top-tier Italian football, the 80th in a round-robin tournament, and the second since its organization under a league committee separate from Serie B. It began on 3 September 2011 and ended on 13 May 2012. The league was originally scheduled to start on 27 August, but this was delayed due to a strike by the players. The 2014–15 Serie B was the 83rd season since its establishment in 1929. A total of 22 teams contested the league: 14 of which returning from the 2013–14 season, 5 of which promoted from Prima Divisione, and three relegated from Serie A. The original concept was that due to Siena's exclusion because of financial issues and the fact such vacancy will not be filled in preparation of a future reduction to a league composed by 20 teams, this season featured 21 participant clubs instead of the usual 22. The 2013–14 Prima Divisione season is the thirty-sixth and final football league season of Italian Prima Divisione since its establishment in 1978, and the fifth since the renaming from Serie C to Lega Pro. It is divided into two phases: the regular season, and the playoff phase. The league is composed of 33 teams divided into two divisions of 16 (Lega Pro Prima Divisione A) and 17 teams (Lega Pro Prima Divisione B). Lega Pro Seconda Divisione was the fourth highest football league in Italy, the lowest with a professional status. Usually it consisted of 36 teams, but in the 2011–12 season, there were 41 teams divided geographically into two divisions of 20 and 21. Group A covered northern and north-central Italy, Group B south-central and southern Italy. Until the 2007–08 season, the league was known as Serie C2.
