Salvador Durán
Salvador Durán Sánchez (born 6 May 1985) is a Mexican race car driver who raced in the FIA Formula E Championship for the Amlin Aguri team. Durán has also previously competed in A1 Grand Prix, Formula Renault 3.5, and the NASCAR Toyota Series. Career Born in Mexico City, Durán started his career in 2002 with a 2nd place in the Skip Barber National and winning the Midwestern Champion trophy. In 2003 he finished 8th in Italian Formula Renault and 15th in the Formula Renault Eurocup. In 2004 and 2005, he drove in the British F3 International Series National Class with P1 Motorsport, becoming class winner in 2005. On the back of this success, he signed up for the 2005-06 A1 Grand Prix season, contesting some of the race weekends for Team Mexico, winning both races of the USA round at Laguna Seca. 2008–09 A1 Grand Prix Season
The 2008–09 A1 Grand Prix season was the fourth and final season of A1 Grand Prix. A1 Team Ireland became the fourth A1GP champions, after a title battle which went down to the final round in Great Britain. Ireland won with 112 points, with team driver Adam Carroll taking five victories at Chengdu, Sepang, Taupo and the series finale at Brands Hatch during the shortened 14 race season. Financial issues led to the cancellation of three events and ultimately the cancellation of the 2009–10 season. Calendar Ten events were scheduled to be held in the 2008–09 series. Amlin Aguri
Team Aguri, formerly Amlin Aguri and officially the Team Aguri Formula E Team, was an international motor racing team founded by former Formula One and 24 Hours of Le Mans driver Aguri Suzuki (Executive Chairman) and Mark Preston (Team Principal) to compete in the FIA Formula E Championship for electric cars. 2012 NASCAR Toyota Series Season
The 2012 NASCAR Toyota Series was the sixth NASCAR Series and the ninth organized by NASCAR Mexico. It was contested over 14 races. Chihuahua was added to calendar, while Guadalajara which was supposed to return after a one-year hiatus was later cancelled and replaced by Monterrey and Tuxtla Gutiérrez was also removed for the year.
