Salur (Assembly Constituency)
Salur is a Scheduled Tribe reserved constituency in Parvathipuram Manyam district of Andhra Pradesh that elects representatives to the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in India. It is one of the seven assembly segments of the Araku Lok Sabha constituency. Rajanna Dora Peedika is the current MLA of the constituency, having won the 2019 Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly election from YSR Congress Party. As of 2019, there are a total of 190,619 electors in the constituency. The constituency was established in 1951, as per the ''Delimitation Orders (1951)' '. Andhra State (IAST: ; ) was a Administrative divisions of India#States and union territories, state in India created in 1953 from the Telugu language, Telugu-speaking northern List of districts in India, districts of Madras State. The state was made up of this two distinct cultural regions – Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra.
