Brady Sallee
Brady Sallee is an American women's college basketball coach. He is the current head women's basketball coach at Ball State University. He previously held the same position at Eastern Illinois University (EIU) in Charleston, Illinois. Biography A native of Lexington, Kentucky, Sallee played collegiate baseball and served as a student assistant with the women's basketball team at Thomas More College (Kentucky), Thomas More College in Crestview Hills, Kentucky from 1990 to 1993. In 1993, he graduated from Thomas More with a bachelor's degree in business administration. Sallee and his wife Mandy have three children: Avery, Taryn and Drew. LaVonne Salleé (born January 18, 1946) is an American artist who is best known for her work with altered Barbie dolls. Like many conceptual artists, she uses materials not usually perceived as artistic in nature. She uses found object methods and a variety of craft skills to accrue her pieces of recycled art. Background and early life Salleé was born in Roswell, New Mexico on January 18, 1946. Her father was a cartoonist who worked for Walt Disney; her mother was a seamstress who also worked as waitstaff. They were divorced when Salleé was four. Salleé's mother would subsequently remarry; this short marriage would result in two more daughters, who were separated from the family after the divorce. Harry Franklin Sallee (February 3, 1885 – March 23, 1950) was a professional baseball player. He was a left-handed pitcher over parts of fourteen seasons (1908–1921) with the St. Louis Cardinals, New York Giants and Cincinnati Reds. For his career, he compiled a 174–143 record in 476 appearances, with a 2.56 earned run average and 836 strikeouts. In Cardinals' franchise history, Sallee ranks 3rd all-time in earned run average (2.67), 7th in innings pitched (1905.1), 8th in games started (215) and wins (106, tied with Adam Wainwright), and 7th in losses (107). Sallee pitched in two World Series, both against the Chicago White Sox, and was a member of the victorious Reds in the infamous " Black Sox" 1919 World Series.
