Mostafa Salimi (12 February 1904 – 13 February 1994) was an Iranian association football, football player and manager. He was head coach of Iran national football team from 1951 to 1952 after served as assistant coach of the national team for more than ten years. Mohammad Salimi
Mohammad Salimi ( fa, محمد سلیمی; 1937 – 2016) was an Iranian military who served as the 6th Minister of Defense in November 1981 to August 1984 and the commander of the Islamic Republic of Iran Army in 2000 to 2005. Early life Salimi was born in Mashhad in 1937. Career Salimi was the defense minister in the cabinet of Mir-Hossein Mousavi, replacing Javad Fakoori. He was in office from 1981 to August 1984. He was succeeded by Mohammad Hossein Jalali as defense minister. Although Salimi retired, he was appointed commander-in-chief in May 2000, replacing Ali Shahbazi. Salimi resigned from office in September 2005. He was succeeded by Major General Ataollah Salehi as the commander-in-chief of the Iranian Army. Then Salimi was named as Ali Khamenei's military advisor on the same date. Homayoun Salimi (همايون سليمی in Persian; born 1948) is an Iranian Painter and academic, born in Tehran, Iran. He was the head of Department of Painting at Tehran University of Art in Tehran. He is one of the foremost exponents of the geometric abstract style in Iran. Life and career Homayoun Salimi was born in 1948, in Tehran. He received his earliest art education at the Mirak Tabrizi Conservatory and later travelled to France to further his studies. In 1978 he obtained a Diploma of Higher Education With Rocheron Prise, at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris and in 1982 he obtained a master's degree of aesthetics and sciences of art from the Sorbonne and in 1990, he obtained his Ph.D., also in aesthetics and sciences of art, from Sorbonne.
