Sadeq Khalilian
Sadeq Khalilian ( fa, صادق خلیلیان, born 1959) is an Iranian conservative politician who has served as the governor of Khuzestan Province since September 2021. He is the former agriculture minister from 2009 to 2013 in the government headed by Mahmoud Ahmedinejad. Early life and education Khalilian was born in Ahvaz in the Khuzestan province in 1959. He holds a bachelor's degree from Ahvaz University. He received a PhD in agricultural economy from Tarbiat Modares University in 1996. During his studies, he was a member of the Islamic Association of Students.
