The Sacrament World Tour was a concert tour by American heavy metal music, metal band Lamb of God (band), Lamb of God. It was in support of the band's 5th studio album ''Sacrament (album), Sacrament''. It was the biggest tour the band has done to date; and their new DVD, ''Walk with Me in Hell (DVD), Walk with Me in Hell'', which was released on July 1, 2008, contains a documentary and live footage from the World Tour. History After touring extensively in 2004 and 2005 for their album ''Ashes of the Wake'', Lamb of God took some time off in late 2005, early 2006 to write material for their new record. In June and July 2006, Lamb of God took some time out of the studio to perform in Mastodon (band), Mastodon, Children of Bodom, and Thine Eyes Bleed. Lamb of God (sometimes abbreviated as LoG) is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia. Formed in 1994 as Burn the Priest, the group consists of bassist John Campbell, vocalist Randy Blythe, guitarists Mark Morton and Willie Adler, and drummer Art Cruz. The band is considered a significant member of the new wave of American heavy metal movement. Since their formation, Lamb of God has released eleven studio albums, including two under the name Burn the Priest; their most recent album, ''Omens'', was released in October 2022. The band has also released one live album, one compilation album, three DVDs, two EPs, and twenty-eight singles. Gigantour
Gigantour was a sporadically organised traveling heavy metal music festival organized by Dave Mustaine of Megadeth. The tour was founded in 2005 with dates across North America (see also Gigantour 2005), and the 2006 and 2007 line-ups also traveled to Australia. The bands appearing at the festival were chosen by Mustaine. The tour is set as an alternative to tours such as Ozzfest. The name "Gigantour" was inspired by the classic 1960s anime ''Gigantor'', of which Mustaine is a fan. The most recent Gigantour took place in 2013. The Freedom Mortgage Pavilion is an outdoor amphitheatre and indoor theater complex in Camden, New Jersey located in the Camden Waterfront entertainment district on the Delaware River across from Philadelphia. The Hammerstein Ballroom is a ballroom located within the Manhattan Center at 311 West 34th Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The capacity of the ballroom is dependent on the configuration of the room; it seats 2,500 people for theatrical productions and musical performances, and several thousand for events held within a central ring. Ozzy Osbourne
John Michael "Ozzy" Osbourne (born 3 December 1948) is an English singer, songwriter, and television personality. He rose to prominence during the 1970s as the lead vocalist of the heavy metal band Black Sabbath, during which period he adopted the nickname "Prince of Darkness". Born and raised in Birmingham, Osbourne became a founding member of Black Sabbath in 1967, and sang on every album from their debut in 1970 to ''Never Say Die!'' in 1978. Ozzfest is an annual music festival tour of the United States and sometimes Europe and later Japan, featuring performances by many heavy metal and hard rock musical groups. It was founded by Sharon Osbourne and her husband Ozzy Osbourne, both of whom also organised each yearly tour with their son Jack Osbourne, and was held almost annually between 1996 and 2018. The (German for "Rock at the Ring") and ("Rock in the Park") festivals are two simultaneous rock music festivals held annually. While ''Rock am Ring'' takes place at the Nürburgring race track, ''Rock im Park'' takes place at the Zeppelinfeld in Nuremberg.
