Sabo (street Artist)
Sabo (born 1968) is the pseudonym of a right wing street artist formerly active in Los Angeles, California. His name derives from sabot, a weapon most commonly used in firearm or cannon ammunition. According to a 2015 interview with Adland, Sabo had been involved in street art since 1999, though he began to take his activity in the scene more seriously around 2008. Sabo's works have been critical of left-wing politics (and its prominence in the entertainment industry) and America's Democratic Party, claiming that "leftism is a mental disorder." Notable works Sabo's first work that received mainstream attention was in May 2014, where he put up posters attacking Democratic politician and then-candidate for governor of Texas Wendy Davis, who held a thirteen-hour-long filibuster to block Senate Bill 5 (a measure which included more restrictive abortion regulations for Texas) a year prior. Radu Sabo
Radu Sabo (born 13 September 1971) is a Romanian former footballer who played as a midfielder. Club career Universitatea Cluj was the team where Sabo started his football career. His first trainer was the club's legend Andrei Sepci. Between 1988 and 1996 he played constantly for the club's first team, being one of the most appreciated players of Universitatea Cluj. In 1996 Radu Sabo was transferred to Gloria Bistrița. He played one season and a half for Gloria and moved to FC Baia Mare. In 1998, he went abroad to the Hungarian side, Debreceni VSC. Sabo spent two seasons there and was transferred to Zalaegerszegi TE. He played 136 matches and scored 32 times for the Hungarian squad. In 2002, he won Borsodi Liga with Zalaegerszegi TE and played in the Champions League preliminary rounds. Migrant Hausa settlements in Yorubaland, popularly known as Sabo, are small geographic areas where Hausa migrants settle, congregating to create a distinctive socio-political quarter to foster their cultural heritage and economic interests in the midst of a different ethnic group. At the same time, the Hausa enter into informal contractual obligations to the Yoruba. The rise of ubiquitous Hausa settlements in some major Yoruba cities is mostly attributed to the inter-ethnic or long-distance trading networks that developed overtime in West Africa. Martin Olav Sabo Bridge
The Martin Olav Sabo Bridge is a bridge in the city of Minneapolis and the first cable-stayed suspension bridge in the U.S. state of Minnesota. Formerly the Midtown Greenway Pedestrian Bridge, it was renamed in honor of former Representative Martin Olav Sabo, a fourteen-term member of Congress from Minnesota. Opened and dedicated in November 2007, the bridge crosses Hiawatha Avenue (Trunk Highway 55) north of 28th Street East and just south of 26th Street East, joining Phase 2 and Phase 3 of the Minneapolis Midtown Greenway at Hiawatha Avenue, allowing a continuous biking connection across the city. Al Sabo Preserve is an area of northeastern Texas Township, in southwestern Kalamazoo County, Michigan. It comprises of marsh, forest, streams, and rolling hills. Numerous trails provide recreational opportunities throughout the Preserve. Location and access Al Sabo Preserve is located between Interstate 94 to the north, Texas Drive to the south, 12th Street to the east, and Kalamazoo Valley Community College at 9th Street and O Ave to the west. Atwater Millpond lies at the northeast corner of the Al Sabo Preserve, fed by the west branch of Portage Creek, which flows through Al Sabo Preserve, and forms a tributary for the Kalamazoo River. Zoltan Sabo ( sr-cyr, Золтан Сабо; hu, Szabó Zoltán; 26 May 1972 – 15 December 2020) was a Serbian professional footballer who played as a defender, and later manager. He also held Hungarian citizenship.
