Andrew Sabiston is a multi-award nominated Canadian children's television series developer, story editor, writer and actor with over 1100 episodes to his credit. His mother is artist Carole Sabiston. Early career An early start as a stage actor in his childhood with the Belfry Theatre, Bastion Theatre and Phoenix Theatre in his native Victoria, BC, led to being cast in Paul Almond's 1983 film '' Ups and Downs'' alongside classmate Leslie Hope which was filmed at their high school, St Michaels University School. He soon landed a starring role on the multiple award-winning Disney Channel/CBC television series ''The Edison Twins'' which ran for six seasons, was widely syndicated and earned him a Young Artist Award nomination for Best Young Actor in a Cable Family Series. Bob Sabiston
Bob Sabiston (born 1967) is an American film art director, computer programmer, and creator of the Rotoshop software program for computer animation. Sabiston began developing software as an undergraduate and then graduate researcher in the MIT Media Lab from 1986 to 1991. While at MIT, and also after moving to Austin, Texas, in 1993, Sabiston used his 2D/3D software to create several short films, including ''God's Little Monkey'' (1994), "Beat Dedication" (1988), and "Grinning Evil Death" (1990). "Grinning Evil Death" was widely seen on the first episode of MTV's "Liquid Television" show. "God's Little Monkey" won the Prix Ars Electronica Golden Nica award for 1994. In 1997, he developed his interpolating rotoscope program, Rotoshop, for an animation contest sponsored by MTV. The software was used to produce a series of 25 30-second interstitials in New York, collectively entitled "Project Incognito." Carole Sabiston
Carole Sabiston (born 1939) is a Canadian textile artist who lives in Victoria, British Columbia. Born in London, England to George and Doris Slater, Carole, at the age of 8, moved to Canada with her parents in 1948. First married to Brian Sabiston in 1961, Carole studied art education at UBC and U-Vic. In 1976 she married Jim Munro, owner of Munro's Books, a bookstore in Victoria, B.C. Her tapestries representing the four seasons decorate architecture niches and contribute to the decor that made Munro's make a list of 'Sixteen Bookstores to See Before You Die'. She has created large-scale installations for public institutions, theatre design, public ceremonies and exhibitions and has received commissions from the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia, the University of Victoria, the Pacific Forestry Centre, the McPherson Theatre, and mystery writer P.D.
