SMtv San Marino (TV Channel)
San Marino RTV is a Sammarinese free-to-air television channel owned and operated by public broadcaster Radiotelevisione della Repubblica di San Marino (SMRTV). It is the company's flagship television channel, and is known for broadcasting news bulletins and self-produced entertainment programming. It was launched on 28 February 1994 and it was branded as "SMtv San Marino" between 2011 and 2013. Programming The channel mostly shows self-produced entertainment programming. It is a member of the European Broadcasting Union (organizer of the Eurovision Song Contest) and the Italian television syndication K2. It also offers a teletext service named ''San Marino Video''. The Eurovision Song Contest 2008 was the 53rd edition of the Eurovision Song Contest. It took place in Belgrade, Serbia, following the country's victory at the with the song "Molitva" by Marija Šerifović. Senhit Zadik Zadik (born 1 October 1979), known professionally as simply Senhit (formerly written as Senit), is an Italian singer. She represented San Marino in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf with " Stand By", but failed to qualify for the final. Ahmet Serhat Hacıpaşalıoğlu (born October 24, 1964), known as Serhat, is a Turkish singer, songwriter, composer, producer and television presenter. Valentina Monetta (born 1 March 1975) is a Sammarinese singer. She is best known for representing in the , , , and Eurovision Song Contests. She also announced the Sammarinese points at the Eurovision Song Contest 2015. In the 2014 contest, Monetta became the first Sammarinese entrant to qualify for the final.
