The SCW Tag Team Championship was a professional wrestling tag team championship in Southern Championship Wrestling (SCW). It remained active until November 20, 2004 when SCW was closed. Southern Championship Wrestling (SCW) was a professional wrestling promotion that held events in the Southeastern United States, especially in eastern and central North Carolina, from November 1994 to November 2004, when it was run by Greg Mosorjak. The promotion was based in Raleigh, North Carolina, with offices in Fuquay Varina and Lenoir, North Carolina. History and overview Formation Greg Mosorjak formed Southern Championship Wrestling in November 1994 upon leaving the Carolina Championship Wrestling Alliance. He was refereeing for the promotion at the time, after a near 10-year absence from the sport, and was interested in getting back into managing. Jason Spence (born April 13, 1977) is an American professional wrestler, better known by his ring name, Christian York. He is best known for his appearances with World Championship Wrestling, Extreme Championship Wrestling and Impact Wrestling. It was initially formed as a stable, consisting of Gregory Helms, Shannon Moore, Joey Matthews and Christian York. HHG Corporation, doing business as Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), was a professional wrestling promotion and media company that was based in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The Dupps
The Dupps were a professional wrestling tag team in southern independents and ECW during the late 1990s composed of four wrestlers and one valet. Each of their names is a play on different phrases: "Bowed up", "Jacked up", "Pucked up", "Stand up", and "Fluffed up". They feuded with Danny Doring and Roadkill over who should have a shot at the ECW Tag Team Championship. The rivalry culminated when The Dupps signed a World Wrestling Federation developmental deal, resulting in a 'Loser Leaves Town' match on the February 25, 2000 episode of ''ECW on TNN'', that the Dupps lost.
