SAFF U-17 Women's Championship
The SAFF U-15/U-17 Women's Championship is association football tournament for women's national teams under the age of 15. The tournament is organized by South Asian Football Federation, South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). History The tournament began in 2017 and is hosted every other year. For 2021, the decision was made to make the tournament a U-16 tournament versus the previous three iterations which had been U-15. However, the tournament was ultimately postponed. Later, Bangladesh was declared to be the host of the 4th edition, which is going to take place in U-15 format on late 2022. South Asian Football Federation (SAFF), founded in 1997, is an association of the football playing nations in South Asia and is part of the larger Asian Football Confederation. The members of the association are Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. 2023 SAFF U-17 Women's Championship
The 2023 UEFA Assist U-17 Women's Championship was the 5th edition of SAFF U-15 Women's Championship, an international football competition for women's under-17 national teams, organized by SAFF in collaboration with UEFA. The tournament was played in Bangladesh from 20 to 28 March 2023. Five teams from the region took part. Nepal was the defending champion having won the previous 2022 edition title for the finished top of the league table. Player eligibility Players born on or after 1 January 2008 are eligible to compete in the tournament. The 2018 SAFF U-15 Women's Championship was the 2nd edition of the SAFF U-15 Women's Championship, an international football competition for women's under-15 national teams organized by SAFF. SAFF U-17 Championship
The SAFF U-15/U-16/U-17 Championship is an annual international football competition contested by the national teams of the members of the South Asian Football Federation (SAFF). The first edition was held as ''SAFF U-16 Championship'', where most teams sent their U-15 team, keeping in mind AFC U-16 Championship hold every following years to SAFF U-16 Championship. In the 2017 edition, it was held as ''SAFF U-15 Championship'' and the subsequent 2022 edition, the ''SAFF U-17 Championship'' was introduced.
