Auditions Pre-Auditions Theatre Auditions Acts who were accepted in the pre-auditions, make it through to the theatre audition, where it is televised with a live audience. For the theatre auditions, there are 6 episodes where hundreds of acts are put through to have a chance to get to the next round - the semi-finals, although only 21 acts will get through. Top 21 Acts After the theatre auditions, the judges decide which 21 acts will go through to the live shows. There are 3 semi-finals and 1 final each with its own results show. Only 2 acts from each semi-final will advance to the final. Jamie Bartlett
James Bartlett (9 July 1966 – 23 May 2022) was a British-born South African actor best known for his role as the wicked puppet master, David Genaro, in '' Rhythm City'' and his theatre work. Career Television Bartlett was a well-known South African actor prior to starring in '' Rhythm City''. He started playing his role as David Genaro in 2007. He was the first person to speak in scene 1 on the TV series '' Isidingo'' as character Mike O'Riley when it was aired on South African television. On the set of ''Isidingo'', he acted opposite Hlomla Dandala who portrayed Derek Nyathi. In 1997, Bartlett acted in the action M-Net TV movie ''The Sexy Girls''. Shado Twala
Nomshado Twala (born September 10, 1958) professionally known by her stage name Shado Twala is a South African radio DJ, journalist, entrepreneur and radio and television producer best known as a judge on SA's Got Talent. Biography Twala was one of three children, in a family in Cape Town. Her first jobs were as a personal assistant to executives at the North West National Parks Board and Jazz Supermarkets. Then in 1989 she first came to public attention in 1989 when she was chosen as the best presenter in a national poll that won her a trip to New York on an exchange programme to learn more about presenting. Thato Sikwane (born 15 October 1972), better known by his stage name DJ Fresh, is a Motswana disk jockey, producer and entrepreneur based in South Africa. He is most well-known for his career on 5FM and Metro FM. Sikwane previously worked for YFM in Johannesburg, South Africa. During the 1990s, he released a series of South African house music records, mostly named Fresh House Flava. Different volumes of the compilations were released. Amanda Benedicta Antony (born 24 July 1993), known professionally as Amanda Black, is a South African singer and songwriter. Born and raised in Gcuwa her career began in 1999 at the age of 6 singing in church choirs. Amanda was a contestant on ''Idols'' South Africa season 11.
