S.F.W.
''S.F.W.'' (or ''So Fucking What'') is a 1994 American black comedy film directed by Jefery Levy. Based on a novel by Andrew Wellman, it stars Stephen Dorff and Reese Witherspoon. Plot Cliff Spab and his friend Joe Dice go out one evening to buy beer from a convenience store, where a group of masked and heavily armed terrorists take them and three other people hostage. The terrorists, who call themselves S.P.L.I.T. Image, have a video camera with which they tape their hostages' every word and action. During a month-long standoff with the police, S.P.L.I.T. Image's only demand is that their broadcasts be televised live on worldwide television, or else the hostages will be killed. S.P.L.I.T. Image makes good on said threat by killing two of the hostages. Cliff, Joe, and a beautiful teenage girl named Wendy Pfister are the only surviving captives. After 36 days, Cliff becomes indifferent to being killed. "Negasonic Teenage Warhead" is the second track on Monster Magnet's 1995 album, ''Dopes to Infinity''. It became the band's first successful single. History "Negasonic Teenage Warhead" was the first song recorded by Monster Magnet after the release of their previous album ''Superjudge'' because a five-minute version of it had to appear in the 1994 movie ''S.F.W.'' Pretty Mary Sunshine
Pretty Mary Sunshine was a band formed in Seattle, Washington in March 1993. Almost as quickly as they were formed, they were signed to A&M Records. Instead of unifying the five piece, being signed to a major record label hastened their disintegration. "PMS" was contracted to produce two albums for A&M Records but they only "officially" released one. What was intended to be their first album was recorded in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma by Record producer Keith Cleversley (one time producer of The Flaming Lips). The only song from the ill-fated "Oklahoma sessions" that A&M Records released, was "Can I Stay?" (featured in the cult movie soundtrack of S.F.W.). In an attempt to market Pretty Mary Sunshine as an indie-rock band, A&M Records also released two previously recorded tracks from the band's demo tape recorded at the Electric Eel Studio, in Seattle. Danny Rubin (born 1957) is an American screenwriter and playwright. He wrote the original story, and then co-wrote with Harold Ramis the screenplay for the comedy film ''Groundhog Day'' (1993), for which the two received a BAFTA Award for Best Screenplay. Monster Magnet is an American rock band. Hailing from Red Bank, New Jersey, the group was founded in 1989 by Dave Wyndorf (vocals and guitar), John McBain (guitar) and Tim Cronin (vocals and drums); they have since gone through several lineup changes, leaving Wyndorf as the only constant member.
