S.C. Praiense
Sport Clube Praiense commonly known as simply as Praiense is a Portuguese sports club from the region of Praia da Vitória, Azores. Founded in 1947, the club currently plays at the Estádio Municipal da Praia da Vitória which holds a seating capacity of 1500. Praia da Vitória (; translating as "Beach of Victory") is a municipality in the Portuguese archipelago of the Azores. With a population of 21,035 (in 2011), the second largest administrative authority on the island of Terceira, it covers an area of , that extends from the northern coast halfway into the interior. History The area of Praia, was one of the first points colonized on the island of Terceira. Praia constituted the seat of the Donatary-Captaincy of Terceira between 1456 and 1474; the island's first Captain, Jácome de Bruges along with his first lieutenant, Diogo de Teive, established their residency at this site. Paulo Sérgio Rodrigues Teles (born 30 March 1993) is a Portuguese footballer who plays as a central midfielder for A.D. Camacha. Club career Born in Funchal, Madeira, Teles finished his youth career with S.L. Benfica, arriving in the club's academy at the age of 16. In August 2012 he moved to Spain, signing a contract with Deportivo de La Coruña and making his debut as a senior with the reserves in Tercera División.
