Alex Rădulescu (born 7 December 1974) is a former tennis player from Romania, who competed for Germany. Rădulescu turned professional in 1995. Dem Rădulescu (; 21 September 1931 – 17 September 2000) was a Romanian theatre, film and television actor, and academic. He was also a professor at the Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Personal life Rădulescu was born in Râmnicu Vâlcea in a family of merchants. After graduating from the Nicolae Bălcescu High School (now known as Alexandru Lahovari National College) in Râmnicu Vâlcea, he had to make a choice between a career as a professional sportsman (boxing) and acting. He was even awarded a golden star at an amateur boxing championship. He served as President of the High Court of Cassation and Justice from 1938 to 1940, and as president of the Romanian Academy from 1946 to 1948. Early life He was born in Chiojdeanca, Prahova County. Horațiu Rădulescu (; 7 January 1942 – 25 September 2008) was a Romanian-French composer, best known for the Spectral music, spectral technique of composition. Life Rădulescu was born in Bucharest, where he studied the violin privately with Nina Alexandrescu, a pupil of George Enescu and Jacques Thibaud, and later studied composition at the Bucharest Academy of Music (MA 1969), where his teachers included Ștefan Niculescu, Stefan Niculescu, Tiberiu Olah and Aurel Stroe, some of the leading figures of the emerging Avant-garde music, avant-garde.
