Jürgen Becker (born August 27, 1959) is a German comedian, kabarett artist, and actor. Life Becker was born and attended school in Cologne, Germany. He became a graphic designer in the German company 4711. Later Becker studied social science in Cologne. In 1983, Becker was a founding member of '' Stunksitzung'' in Cologne, and he was its president from 1984 to 1995. Since 1992 Becker has performed in the television show Mitternachtsspitzen. It is a sequel to the film ''7 Zwerge – Männer allein im Wald''. The film is based on the fairy tale "Rumpelstiltskin" and characters from "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs". Plot Hansel and Gretel are lost in the forest. Gretel thinks to see a dwarf in the bushes but it is a disgusting humanlike creature. It scares Hansel and Gretel who run further into the woods. Not long after, Bubi shows up and asks the creature for his name. The creature only reveals to be "The Evil One" and nobody else knows his real name. Goldene Europa award is the oldest German Television award for artists and entertainers. It was awarded from 1968 to 2003. In the years 1989 and 2001, there were no ceremonies. Since 1981, the gala was broadcast on television. The original sculpture award for the "Goldene Europa" from 1968 is the work of sculptor Herbert Strässer.
