Rüdiger Haas
Rüdiger Haas (born 15 December 1969) is a former professional tennis player from Germany. Career Despite winning two Grand Prix doubles titles, Haas never competed in the main draw of a Grand Slam event. He did however make some Grand Slam appearances in the juniors. The biggest tournament he participated in as a singles player was the 1991 German Open, part of the ATP Super 9 series. He lost in the first round to Omar Camporese from Italy. The only occasion that he made it past the opening round of a Grand Prix or ATP Tour tournament was in the 1991 Kremlin Cup, where he defeated Soviet Sergei Skakun, before being eliminated in the second round by Jakob Hlasek. He won his first doubles title at Frankfurt in 1988, partnering a 17-year-old Goran Ivanišević. They upset the reigning Australian Open champions Rick Leach and Jim Pugh in the semi-finals, then defeated Jeremy Bates and Tom Nijssen in the final. Rick Leach
Rick Leach (born December 28, 1964) is a former professional tennis player and a coach from the United States. A doubles specialist, he won five Grand Slam doubles titles (three at the Australian Open, one at Wimbledon, and one at the US Open), and four mixed doubles titles (two at the Australian Open, one at Wimbledon, and one at the US Open). He reached the world No. 1 doubles ranking in 1990. Leach was a member of the US team which won the Davis Cup in 1990. Partnering Jim Pugh, he won the doubles rubbers in all four of the rounds which the US played in that year, and clinched the team's victory in the final with a win over Pat Cash and John Fitzgerald of Australia. Prior to turning professional, Leach became the first four-time Division 1 All-American in singles and doubles at the University of Southern California (where he played for his father Dick), and won the NCAA doubles title in 1986 and 1987. Bertrand Madsen (born 18 May 1972) is a former professional tennis player from Haiti. Career Madsen was a quarter-finalist in the boys' singles event at the 1990 French Open. After leaving the junior circuit, Madsen started out competing in the ATP Challenger Series, but in 1991 managed to qualify for the US Open. He was beaten in the first round by Todd Woodbridge. Brian Joelson
Brian Joelson (born September 30, 1961) is a former professional tennis player from the United States. Biography Joelson was born in Georgia and grew up in Portland, Oregon, attending Aloha High School. While playing a junior tournament in Texas at the age of 17 he caught the eye of the Texas A&M University coach who was in attendance to watch another player. From 1979 to 1983 he attended Texas A&M and played collegiate tennis in the Southwest Conference. For the remainder of the decade he spent several years as the head pro at a Mercer Island tennis club and made an attempt in 1987 to play on tour, but was only able to feature in satellites.
