Ernst Rückert
Anton Ernst Rückert (20 December 1886 – 3 September 1945) was a German stage and film actor. Rückert began his theatre career in 1908 and has appeared on the stage in Bleicherode, Königsberg and Kiel, among others. In 1910 he took up an engagement at the Luisentheatre in Berlin. From 1910 he was a sought-after silent film actor, initially in leading roles. In 1912 he played the first officer of the Titanic in the film ''In Nacht und Eis''. From 1914 to 1917 he served in the military in the First World War. He then continued his film career and continued to receive leading roles and important supporting roles. In the 1930s, Rückert became a character actor in film, and he only rarely received engagements in the theatre. Feodor Ivanovich Rückert, (German: Friedrich Moritz Rückert), (1840 in Alsace — 1917 in Moscow) was a silversmith, goldsmith, and Fabergé workmaster of German origin. Friedrich Rückert
Friedrich Rückert (16 May 1788 – 31 January 1866) was a German poet, translator, and professor of Oriental languages. Biography Rückert was born in Schweinfurt and was the eldest son of a lawyer. He was educated at the local '' Gymnasium'' and at the universities of Würzburg and Heidelberg. From 1816 to 1817, he worked on the editorial staff of the ''Morgenblatt'' at Stuttgart. Nearly the whole of the year 1818 he spent in Rome, and afterwards he lived for several years at Coburg (1820–1826). Rückert married Luise Wiethaus-Fischer there in 1821. He was appointed a professor of Oriental languages at the University of Erlangen in 1826, and, in 1841, he was called to a similar position in Berlin, where he was also made a privy councillor. In 1849 he resigned his professorship at Berlin, and went to live full-time in his ''Gut'' (estate) at Neuses (now a part of Coburg). Heinrich Rückert (14 February 1823, in Coburg – 11 September 1875, in Breslau) was a German historian and Germanist. He was the son of orientalist and poet Friedrich Rückert (1788–1866). From 1840 to 1844 he studied classical and German philology at the universities of Erlangen, Bonn and Berlin. In 1845 he obtained his habilitation for German history and archaeology at the University of Jena, and later on, relocated to Breslau, where in 1852 he became an associate professor (full professor 1867). In 1852 he was a founding member of the ''Verein für Thüringische Geschichte und Alterthumskunde'' (Society of Thuringian History and Antiquities).
