Rättvik Municipality
Rättvik Municipality (''Rättviks kommun'') is a municipality in Dalarna County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the town of Rättvik. In 1963 the municipality was reunited with ''Boda'', which had been detached from it in 1875, and in 1974 ''Ore'' was added, thus forming the present municipality. Geography Rättvik municipality is situated in the middle of Sweden in the province of Dalarna, in between the three Swedish cities Borlänge, Falun and Mora. It is located in a traditional forest and agriculture environment, which is how most of Sweden looked in the 19th century and earlier. Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna Rättvik, commonly known as IFK Rättvik, is a sports club in Rättvik, Sweden. The club colours are white and blue, like for most Idrottsföreningen Kamraterna, IFK clubs. Dalarna County ( sv, Dalarnas län) is a county or '' län'' in central Sweden (Svealand). It borders on the counties of Uppsala, Jämtland, Gävleborg, Västmanland, Örebro and Värmland. Siljan (lake)
Siljan, in Dalarna in central Sweden, is Sweden's seventh largest lake. The cumulative area of Siljan and the adjacent, smaller lakes Orsasjön and Insjön is . Siljan reaches a maximum depth of , and its surface is situated above sea level. The largest town on its shore is Mora.
