Kuki Ryūichi
__NOTOC__ was a Japanese politician and samurai. He is best known as the father of philosopher Kuki Shūzō. Life Kuki was born Hoshizaki Sadajirō in Sanda Domain (present-day Sanda, Hyōgo Prefecture), the second son of Hoshizaki Sadamoto, a retainer of the Sanda Domain. After his mother died in 1860, he was adopted by Kuki Takahiro, the ''karō'' of Ayabe Domain, through the mediation of Kuki Takayoshi, the daimyo of Sanda. In 1866, he succeeded as the head of the Kuki family. In the early years of the Meiji period, after studying under Fukuzawa Yukichi, he took a post in the Japanese Ministry of Education, specializing in cultural policy. In 1884, he was appointed Japanese ambassador to the United States. Complications in his career arose when his wife Hatsu had an affair with Okakura Kakuzō. Ryūichi Tamura
was a Japanese poet, essayist and translator of English language novels and poetry who was active during the Shōwa period of Japan. Biography Tamura was born in what is now Sugamo, Tokyo. After graduation from the Third Metropolitan Commercial High School, he was hired by Tokyo Gas, but quit work after only one day. He then continued his studies, and was a graduate of the Literature Department of Meiji University, where he met a group of young poets interested in modernism. He was drafted into the Imperial Japanese Navy in 1943, and although he did not see combat, the fact that many of his friends died in the war left him psychologically scarred. is a former Japanese football player and manager. He played for Japan national team. Club career Sugiyama was born in Shizuoka on July 4, 1941. is a Japanese composer, pianist, singer, record producer and actor who has pursued a diverse range of styles as a solo artist and as a member of Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO). With his bandmates Haruomi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi, Sakamoto influenced and pioneered a number of electronic music genres. Sakamoto began his career while at university in the 1970s as a session musician, producer, and arranger. His first major success came in 1978 as co-founder of YMO. , also known monomously as Ryuichi or Dravil, is a Japanese singer, rapper, and guitarist. In 2001, he rose to fame as a member of the Japanese boy band W-inds as the group's dancer, back-up vocalist, and rapper. In addition to his activities with W-inds, Ogata also played guitar and provided back-up vocals for the rock bands Radio Foundation and All City Steppers. Ryuichi Oda
Ryuichi Oda ( ja, 小田龍一, born 12 December 1976) is a Japanese professional golfer who currently competes on the Japan Golf Tour. Oda was born in Kagoshima Prefecture. He spent much of his amateur career developing his skills at the Kagoshima Country Club. He competed in two Japan Golf Tour events in 2002 ( Token Corporation Cup and Tsuruya Open) and despite missing the cut on both occasions, became a professional in time for the Fujisankei Classic where he once again failed to get past the second day. It was not until the Diamond Cup Tournament before he made his first cut, finishing T55. It was not until the 2009 Japan Open that Oda shot to fame.
