Kanji
are the logographic Chinese characters taken from the Chinese family of scripts, Chinese script and used in the writing of Japanese language, Japanese. Ryōichi Yazu
was a Japanese inventor. He is best known for his invention of Japan's first mechanical calculator. Birth and education Ryōichi Yazu was born in Buzen, Fukuoka as the son of a village mayor. He attended primary and middle school in his home village of Iwaya and the city of Buzen. At the age of 16 he left middle school and travelled to Osaka to pursue his interest in flight, studying mathematics and engineering at a private school in Osaka. At the age of 22 he returned to Buzen and began work on a thesis on the mechanics of flight. Two years later he brought the thesis and a model of his calculator on a visit to the novelist and army physician Mori Ōgai. Impressed, Ōgai wrote recommendations that led to a special research position at the Tokyo Imperial College of Engineering, where he worked on the design of a propeller-driven airplane. is a Japanese former professional boxer who competed from 2006 to 2019. He was a unified light-flyweight world champion, having held the WBA title from 2014 to 2018 and the IBF and ''Ring'' magazine titles from 2017 to 2018. is a Japanese ultramarathon and marathon runner from Sagamihara, Kanagawa. He is the current Asian record holder of the 24-hour run with the distance of , which he achieved in 2007 at Soochow International Ultra-Marathon. Ryōichi Sasakawa
was a Japanese suspected war criminal, businessman, far-right politician, and philanthropist. He was born in Minoh, Osaka. In the 1930s and during the Second World War he was active both in finance and in politics, actively supporting the Japanese war effort including raising his own paramilitary units. He was elected to the Japanese parliament during the war. After Japan's defeat he was imprisoned for a time, accused of war crimes, and then found financial success in various business ventures, including motorboat-racing gambling events (''Kyōtei'') and ship building. He supported anticommunist activities, including the World Anti-Communist League. In 1951 he helped found the Nippon Foundation and became its first president. was a Japanese jurist and politician from Suita, Osaka. Early life and academic career After graduating from Tohoku Imperial University in 1933, Kuroda was sent to Manchukuo to be an instructor at a service academy. He spent five years in a Siberian labor camp before he returned to Japan in 1950, and became a professor of law at Osaka City University in 1956. Political career Kuroda was elected governor of Osaka Prefecture in 1971, supported by the Japan Socialist Party and the Japanese Communist Party. In 1975, he became the first governor who won reelection with backing only from the Japanese Communist Party. He unsuccessfully ran for a third term in 1979. is a Japanese people, Japanese Aikido instructor and chiropractic, Chiropractor who served on the instructional staff at Amenotakemusu Juku Aikido Dojo under Seiseki Abe for three decades.
