Ryan Valentine
Ryan David Valentine (born 19 August 1982) is a Welsh former footballer who last played as a defender for Bala Town. Club career Valentine signed for Wrexham on a free transfer after leaving Darlington in the summer of 2006. Despite a sending off against Bury on 9 March 2007, Valentine played well for Wrexham. He played a vital part in their bid for survival, scoring the penalty in Wrexham's must win game on 5 May 2007 against Boston United which levelled the score at 1–1. Wrexham won the game 3–1 and stayed in the Football League. It was announced on 18 January 2008 that he has left Wrexham and rejoined his former club Darlington. On 29 May 2009 Valentine signed a one-year deal at League Two side Hereford United. Valentine later agreed a further year on his Hereford contract. Wrexham
Wrexham ( ; cy, Wrecsam; ) is a city and the administrative centre of Wrexham County Borough in Wales. It is located between the Welsh mountains and the lower Dee Valley, near the border with Cheshire in England. Football League Third Division
The Football League Third Division was the third tier of the English football league system in 1920–21 and again from 1958 until 1992. 2002–03 Football League
The 2002–03 Football League (known as the Nationwide Football League for sponsorship reasons) was the 104th completed season of The Football League. Portsmouth won the First Division by some distance, passing manager Harry Redknapp's old club, West Ham on the way down. Leicester City earned a somewhat controversial promotion, as administration and a Creditor's Voluntary Agreement wrote off much of their debt. Welsh League Cup
The Cymru Premier League Cup, currently known as the Nathaniel MG Cup for sponsorship reasons, is a cup competition in Welsh football organised by the Cymru Premier. The competition was established in 1992 and is considered to be the second-most important domestic cup competition for Welsh football clubs, after the older and more prestigious Welsh Cup. Unlike the Welsh Cup, where 135 teams entered in 2008–09, the competition is only open to the members of the Cymru Premier, the Cymru North, Cymru South and a very select few other clubs.
