Ryan Looney
Ryan Looney (born November 8, 1975) is an American college basketball coach and the current Head Men's Basketball Coach at Idaho State University. Coaching career Ryan Looney was formerly coach at Seattle Pacific University. 2013-14 SPU finished with an overall record of 26–6, won the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Championship, won the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, reached as high as second in the NABC national poll, and advanced to the NCAA II National Tournament. Looney was recognized as the 2014 GNAC Coach of the Year and the 2014 NABC West Region Coach of the Year. During the 2012–13 season SPU finished with the best overall record in program history at 27–4, won the Great Northwest Athletic Conference Tournament Championship, reached as high as second in the NABC national poll, and advanced to the NCAA II West Region Final. Idaho State Bengals Men's Basketball
The Idaho State Bengals men's basketball team represents Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, United States. The school's team currently competes in the Big Sky Conference. They are currently led by head coach Ryan Looney and play their home games at Reed Gym. 2019–20 NCAA Division I Men's Basketball Season
The 2019–20 NCAA Division I men's basketball season began on November 5, 2019. The first tournament was the 2K Sports Classic and the season concluded prematurely on March 12, 2020. The 2020 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was scheduled to end in Atlanta on April 6, 2020, but was ultimately canceled. All other postseason tournaments were canceled as well. Practices officially began in late September. On March 12, 2020, the NCAA announced that all remaining winter and spring championships for both men's and women's sports were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. PacWest Conference
The Pacific West Conference (also known as the PacWest) is a college athletic conference affiliated with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) at the Division II level. Member institutions are located in California and Hawaii.
