Ryan Garry
Ryan Felix Mayne Garry (born 29 September 1983) is an English former professional footballer who played as a defender and could also operate as a midfielder for Arsenal and AFC Bournemouth. He is currently head coach of the England U17s. Club career Arsenal Born in Hornchurch, London, Garry joined Arsenal in 1999 and progressed through their youth academy, winning the FA Youth Cup in 2001. He signed a professional contract with Arsenal on 2 July 2001, and his first team debut came against Sunderland on 6 November 2002 in the League Cup. He made his first starting appearance on 7 May 2003 against Southampton, playing 90 minutes in a 6–1 win which saw hat-tricks from Robert Pires and Jermaine Pennant, the first match of Arsenal's 49-game unbeaten run. However, this proved to be his only league appearance as he was then hit by long-term injury (shin splints) and spent most of the next four seasons on the sidelines. AFC Bournemouth () is a professional association football club based in Kings Park, Boscombe, a suburb of Bournemouth, Dorset, England. Nike Academy
The Nike Football Academy was an English football academy funded and administered by Nike, Inc. The academy had a revolving squad of unsigned under-20 players and was run with the intention of helping them find a professional club. The academy was based at St George's Park National Football Centre. The squad was made up of players scouted worldwide and drafted to the squad through Nike Most Wanted trials. Over 50 players have gone on to play professional football over the years. The programme was led by Manager Jon Goodman, with former Wolverhampton Wanderers player Matt Murray who worked as Assistant Manager. Paul Groves (footballer)
Paul Groves (born 28 February 1966) is an English football coach and former professional footballer. He is currently the assistant coach of Indian Super League club NorthEast United. He notably captained and managed Grimsby Town. He was naturally a central midfield player, but later in his career was used as a central defender. He also played in the Football League for Leicester City, Lincoln City, Blackpool, West Bromwich Albion and Scunthorpe United having also played at non-league level for Belper Town, Burton Albion, York City and Stafford Rangers. Club football European competitions In October 2007, Arsenal equalled the UEFA Champions League record victory with a 7–0 win over Slavia Prague at the Emirates Stadium.
