Ryan Doherty
Ryan Daniel Doherty (born February 2, 1984) is an American professional beach volleyball player. Career Start in baseball Doherty, who was born and raised in Toms River, New Jersey, grew up playing baseball, including at Toms River High School East. He was named the 2002 Gatorade Player of the Year for the state of New Jersey and was awarded a partial scholarship to play baseball at the University of Notre Dame for the Fighting Irish. He is believed to have been the tallest player in the history of the National Collegiate Athletic Association baseball history. While at Notre Dame, he did not play collegiate volleyball due to his baseball commitments. In 2002, he was named an All-American. He went undrafted after college, although was eventually signed as a free agent by the Arizona Diamondbacks in June 2005. John Hyden
John Hyden (born October 7, 1972, in Tustin, California) is an American volleyball and beach volleyball player. Raised in San Diego, California, where he attended Mt. Carmel High School, Hyden was a member of the United States men's national volleyball team that finished in ninth place at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. A 2-time All American at San Diego State University he was named to 1995 World Cup team and played as an outside hitter. At the 2000 Summer Olympics he finished in 11th place with ''Team USA''. Hyden also plays beach volleyball as a defender. He has been playing several years on the Association of Volleyball Professionals (AVP) circuit, remaining consistently in the top 8 teams. He has had several 2nd-place finishes and got a first-place finish in 2005. 2007 has seen him with many 3rd & 5th-place finishes. Álvaro Magliano de Morais Filho (born November 27, 1990 in João Pessoa, Paraíba) is a Brazilian male beach volleyball player. Early in his adolescence, Álvaro liked to play soccer. The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour (known between 2003 and 2012 as the FIVB Beach Volleyball Swatch World Tour for sponsorship reasons) was the worldwide professional beach volleyball tour for both men and women organized by the ' ( FIVB), the sport's global governing body. The World Tour was introduced 1989 for men and in 1992 for women being held yearly since then until 2021. Several tournaments were staged throughout the year. Todd Jonathan Rogers (born September 30, 1973) is an American professional beach volleyball player who is an Olympic and FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship gold medalist. He and his former partner, Phil Dalhausser, were the 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 AVP Tour champions.
