Ryan Davis (musician)
Ryan Davis (born Sebastian Waack, January 30, 1983 in Magdeburg) is a German record producer, live act, DJ and graphic designer living in Berlin. Life Raised in the 90s-era of East Germany Davis got in contact with the hip-hop and techno scene which both where omnipresent in Germany at the time. The DJ was a central figure in this movement and inspired Davis to become a DJ himself and to create his first own electronic productions. Due to his classical guitar education he already gained foreknowledge for melodic compositions which he then could incorporate in his productions. Career To this day the emphasis on melody is a trademark of Davis productions. In 2012 he published his first LP 'Particles of Bliss' on the record label Traumschallplatten. Erased Tapes Records is a London-based independent record label focusing on releasing avant-garde and experimental electronic music. History The record company was established by Robert Raths in early 2007 in London, with the release of Ryan Lee West's ''Vemeer'' EP under the Aparatec moniker. Alexander Paul Coe (born 4 September 1969), known professionally as Sasha, is a Welsh DJ and record producer. He is best known for his live events and electronic music as a solo artist, as well as his collaborations with British DJ John Digweed as Sasha & John Digweed. Andrew Michael Bayer (born 1987) is an American DJ and Grammy-nominated music producer. He is best known for working with Anjunabeats as a multi-genre artist and English deep house sublabel Anjunadeep. Born in Washington, D.C., Bayer was piano-educated as a child before graduating with a degree in music synthesis at the Berklee College of Music. Nils Frahm (born 20 September 1982) is a German musician, composer, and record producer based in Berlin. He is known for combining classical and electronic music and for an unconventional approach to the piano in which he mixes a grand piano, upright piano, Roland Juno-60, Rhodes piano, drum machines, and Moog Taurus. Ólafur Arnalds (; born 3 November 1986) is an Icelandic multi-instrumentalist and producer from Mosfellsbær, Iceland. He mixes strings and piano with loops and beats, a sound ranging from ambient/electronic to atmospheric pop. Jian Kellett Liew, known professionally as Kyson, is an Australian singer, songwriter, and producer. Early life Liew was born in Adelaide, Australia.
