Ryan Bomben
Ryan Bomben (born May 16, 1987) is a professional Canadian football offensive guard who is currently a free agent. He most recently played for the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL). He is a four-time East Division All-Star and has also played for the Montreal Alouettes and Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Bomben played CIS football for the Guelph Gryphons. Professional career He was originally drafted 31st overall by the Montreal Alouettes in the 2010 CFL Draft. In 2011 and 2012 with the Alouettes, he dressed in all 36 games as a back-up offensive lineman. He scored his first professional touchdown on October 28, 2012 on a five-yard reception and record five receptions for 33 yards in 2012 as a tight end. In 2013, he became a regular starter at offensive guard, starting 15 regular season games while dressing in all 18. The BC Lions are a professional Canadian football team based in Vancouver, British Columbia. The Lions compete in the West Division of the Canadian Football League (CFL), and play their home games at BC Place. The Lions played their first season in 1954, and have played every season since, making them the oldest professional sports franchise in British Columbia. 2019 Toronto Argonauts Season
The 2019 Toronto Argonauts season was the 62nd season for the team in the Canadian Football League and their 147th season overall. The Argonauts finished with a 4–14 record, matching their win–loss record from a year prior, and did not qualify for the playoffs for the second consecutive season. This was the third season with Jim Popp as general manager and first for new head coach Corey Chamblin who replaced Marc Trestman following a disappointing campaign in 2018 (failing to meet expectations following a Grey Cup victory in 2017). 2020 CFL Draft
The 2020 CFL Draft took place on April 30, 2020 at 8:00 pm ET and was broadcast on TSN and RDS.. 73 players were chosen from among eligible players from Canadian Universities across the country, as well as Canadian players playing in the NCAA. This was the second year in a row that featured territorial picks after they were re-introduced in the 2019 CFL Draft. The draft was broadcast live on TSN for two hours and then subsequent coverage shifted to digital platforms on CFL.ca. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, every commentator broadcast from remote locations as opposed to in-studio. Jamal Robinson (born January 13, 1993) is a former American football wide receiver. He previously played for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League (CFL) and played college football at Louisiana-Lafayette. Early years Robinson attended Salmen High School in Slidell, Louisiana, where he earned all-state honors as a senior. That year, he caught 84 passes for 1,021 yards and 19 touchdowns.
