Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy
The Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy (RCHA) is the governmental organization of the Rwanda for cultural heritage. It was established by Presidential Decree No. 082/01 of August 28, 2020 as a merger of three institutions: the Rwanda Academy of Language and Culture, the Institute of National Museums of Rwanda and the Rwanda Archives and Library Services. Robert Masozera has been the Director General since November 11, 2020. The agency's headquarters are located in the Huye district in the Southern Province of Rwanda. The mission of the Rwanda Cultural Heritage Academy is to protect and promote the culture and language of Rwanda (Kinyarwanda). To this end, it collects, preserves and publicly exhibits objects of national cultural and natural heritage and Rwandan history, promotes cultural activities and oversees museums, archives, libraries and historical sites. Government Of Rwanda
The politics of Rwanda reflect Belgian and German civil law systems and customary law takes place in a framework of a semi-presidential republic, whereby the President of Rwanda is the head of state with significant executive power, with the Prime Minister of Rwanda being the constitutional head of government. Legislative power is vested in both the government and the two chambers of parliament, the Senate and the Chamber of Deputies. On 5 May 1995, the Transitional National Assembly adopted a new constitution which included elements of the constitution of 18 June 1991 as well as provisions of the 1993 Arusha peace accord and the November 1994 multiparty protocol of understanding. Huye District
Huye is one of the eight districts (''Akarere'') that make up Rwanda's Southern Province. It has a total surface area of 581.5 square Kilometers. It has thirteen sectors and 77 cells with a total of 508 umudugudus (villages) in total. The district has a population of 328,298, with an average of 581 inhabitants per square kilometer. The largest city in the province is Butare. Geography and education Huye borders with Nyanza district in the North, Gisagara in the east and south, Nyaruguru in the south west and Nyamagabe in the north west. The hilly landscape protrudes from east to west but develops into a steep hilly and mountainous area as one moves towards the west and north west. Rwanda (; rw, u Rwanda ), officially the Republic of Rwanda, is a landlocked country in the Great Rift Valley of Central Africa, where the African Great Lakes region and Southeast Africa converge. Located a few degrees south of the Equator, Rwanda is bordered by Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Robert Masozera
