Ruth Millar
Ruth Laura Millar (born in 1975 Newton Mearns, near Glasgow, Scotland) is a Scottish actress, writer and producer. Early years She spent her early years in Glasgow before attending Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design where she graduated with a degree in fine art in 1996. After leaving art school Millar formed Wee Lassie Productions, a production company that showcased the best of acting and writing talent. The showcase was held for one night only at the Groucho Club, London. This was where Millar was spotted by an agent and then landed the Punto girl in one of the year's most successful advertising campaigns. Newton Mearns
Newton Mearns ( sco, The Mearns; gd, Baile Ùr na Maoirne ) is a suburban town and the largest settlement in East Renfrewshire, Scotland. It lies southwest of Glasgow City Centre on the main road to Ayrshire, above sea level. It has a population of approximately 26,993, stretching from Whitecraigs and Kirkhill in the northeast to Maidenhill in the southeast, to Westacres and Greenlaw in the west and Capelrig/Patterton in the northwest. Michael Figgis (born 28 February 1948) is an English film director, screenwriter, and composer. He was nominated for two Academy Awards for his work in ''Leaving Las Vegas'' (1995).
