Ruth Langsford
Ruth Wendy Holmes (née; Langsford; born 17 March 1960) is an English television presenter. She has presented various television shows, including '' This Morning'' (1999–present) in which she is the longest serving presenter, '' Gift Wrapped'' (2014), ''How the Other Half Lives'' (2015–present), and ''Ruth Langsford’s Fashion Edit'' (2017–present). Since 1999, Langsford has been a regular panellist on the ITV talk show ''Loose Women'', becoming a presenter in 2013. ''Born to Shine'' is an ITV entertainment programme which featured celebrities who learn a new skill taught to them by talented teenagers, live on Sunday evenings. The show was presented by Natasha Kaplinsky and won by Jason Manford. Format Teenagers teach celebrities a new talent to perform on the ''Born to Shine'' stage. TV Travel Shop was a British television channel that sold holidays. It launched in April 1998, primarily on satellite and cable, broadcasting between 6am and 5pm, sharing space with Challenge. In 1999, the channel began broadcasting 24 hours a day. In 2000, the channel launched on ONdigital, using capacity from ONrequest 2 (later ITV Select 2), and broadcast 6am-12pm weekdays, and 6am-10am weekends, free to air on channel 44. Its hours were extended in January 2002 to be broadcast from 6am-6pm daily. Ian Stirling (28 October 1940 – 30 June 2005) was a British actor and television presenter, best known for his work with Westward Television and Television South West, TSW. Stirling, a stage actor originally from Fife, joined the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in 1974.
