Rustum (1984 Film)
''Rustum'' is a 1984 Telugu-language action film, produced by S. P. Venkanna Babu under the Maheswari Movies banner and directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy. It stars Chiranjeevi and Urvashi (in her Telugu film debut), with music composed by Chakravarthy. The film was recorded as a ''Hit' at the box office. Plot The movie starts with Ganga Rayudu, the village panchayat head, who judges a dispute between Musalaiah and a rowdy, Gangaiah, Musalaiah left the village under some unknown circumstances and returned after fifteen years, he learns that his house and farm were illegally acquired by Gangaiah and he is unwilling to return the property to Musalaiah, hence they came to the Panchayat. Rayudu supports Gangaiah and does injustice to Musalaiah, having insufficient power to face Rayudu, he again leaves the village. Rustum (2019 Film)
''Rustum'' is a 2019 Indian Kannada-language action crime film directed by Ravi Varma in his directorial debut. It was produced by Jayanna and Bhogendra under the banner of Jayanna Combines. The film features Shiva Rajkumar, Vivek Oberoi, Shraddha Srinath, Rachita Ram and Mayuri Kyatari in the lead roles. The film was the Kannada film debut of Vivek Oberoi, Mahendran , Harish Uthaman and Sakshi Chaudhary. This is the first Kannada film to be set in Bihar for a large part of the film. The film was also noted to have a large portion of the second half of the film in Hindi language. A sequel to the film was announced after the movie became a commercial success. Rustum Ghazaleh ( ar, رستم غزالة) also transl. from Arabic as Rostom Ghazale, Rustom Ghazalah, Rustom Ghazali; (3 May 1953 – 24 April 2015) was a Syrian military and intelligence officer. Early life Ghazaleh was born into a Sunni Muslim family in Qarfa village in Daraa Governorate on 3 May 1953. Career Ghazaleh joined the Syrian Arab Army as a first lieutenant and platoon commander of a mechanized infantry (BMP-1) unit in 1973, just in time for the Yom Kippur War but did not see frontline combat. He later trained in artillery and military intelligence in the Soviet Union. He was later an artillery spotter and commander of a mechanized battalion during the Lebanese Civil War. He was appointed by Syrian President Bashar al-Assad in December 2002 to succeed the late Ghazi Kanaan as head of Syrian military intelligence in Lebanon. Rustum Kozain
Rustum Kozain (born 1966) is a South African poet and writer. Life Kozain was born in Paarl. After he matriculated, he studied at the University of Cape Town. During this time, he focus his PhD research on selected South Africa poetry in English from 1970 to 1990. In 1994 and 1995 he attended Bowling Green State University in Ohio, United States on a Fulbright Scholarship. From 1998 to 2004 he was a lecturer at the University of Cape Town. In addition to two collections of poetry, he has also published reviews, essays and short fiction. Further writing can be found on his personal web site at Groundwork. Kozain has won a number of awards for his poetry. Rustum Roy
Rustum Roy (July 3, 1924 – August 26, 2010) was a physicist, born in India, who became a professor at Pennsylvania State University and was a leader in materials research. As an advocate for interdisciplinarity, he initiated a movement of materials research societies and, outside of his multiple areas of scientific and engineering expertise, wrote impassioned pleas about the need for a fusion of religion and science and humanistic causes. Later in life he held visiting professorships in materials science at Arizona State University, and in medicine at the University of Arizona. Early life and education Roy was born in Ranchi, Bihar Province, India, the son of Narenda Kumar and Rajkumari Roy. Rustum took a Cambridge School Certificate from Saint Paul's School Darjeeling.
