The Hatsavita Mountain Training Center is a Ministry of Internal Affairs (Russia) (or MVD) training facility located in Labinsk, Krasnodar Krai, southern Russia. Labinsk (russian: Лаби́нск) is a town in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Bolshaya Laba River (Kuban's tributary) southeast of Krasnodar and southwest of Armavir. The 1st Special Purpose Unit of the Internal Forces "Vityaz" (russian: 1-й Oтряд специального назначения Внутренних войск «Витязь»), commonly known as Vityaz (Витязь, lit. The High Altitude Warfare School (HAWS) is a National security, defence service training and research establishment of the Indian Army. In 1948, the Indian Army established a ski school in Gulmarg that later became the High Altitude Warfare School, which specializes in snow–craft and winter warfare. Mountain Warfare Training Camp Michael Monsoor (formerly known as La Posta Mountain Warfare Training Facility) in San Diego County, California is a training facility used by the Naval Special Warfare Center. At elevation, it is east of San Diego near the unincorporated community of Campo. History The site has a firing range, an administration building, barracks, and a length mountain endurance training course. The Army Mountain Warfare School (AMWS) is a United States Army school located at the Camp Ethan Allen Training Site, Jericho, Vermont to train soldiers in mountain warfare, the specialized skills required for operating in mountainous terrain. It is home to the 86th Infantry Brigade Combat Team. The school is located in Vermont's Green Mountains.
