Russ Irwin
Russ Irwin is an American singer-songwriter, producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist from New York City. He has worked with multiple artists including Aerosmith, Sting (musician), Sting, Bryan Adams, Meat Loaf, Foreigner (band), Foreigner, Cheap Trick, Joe Bonamassa, and Curt Smith. Irwin studied music business and classical piano at New York University and also attended the New School for jazz piano. In 1991, he was signed by Charles Koppelman to SBK Records and a self-titled album, produced by Phil Ramone followed later that year. The album debuted on the ''Billboard magazine, Billboard'' Heatseekers chart, and the single, "My Heart Belongs to You" hit No. 28 on the Billboard Hot 100, ''Billboard'' Hot 100. and the song "I Need You Now" hit No. 36 on the Radio & Records Rock chart. Blues is a music genre and musical form which originated in the Deep South of the United States around the 1860s. Blues incorporated spirituals, work songs, field hollers, shouts, chants, and rhymed simple narrative ballads from the African-American culture. ''Bat Out of Hell III: The Monster Is Loose'' is the ninth studio album by Meat Loaf, and the third and final album in the ''Bat Out of Hell'' trilogy. It was released in Ireland on October 20, 2006, 29 years after '' Bat Out of Hell'' (1977), and 13 years after '' Bat Out of Hell II: Back into Hell'' (1993). It was released in the UK on October 23, 2006, and in the US on October 31, 2006. Produced by Desmond Child, it is the only ''Bat'' album not involving Jim Steinman in its production. The album was subject to a legal dispute between Meat Loaf and Steinman, who had registered the phrase "Bat Out of Hell" as a trademark and attempted to prevent the album using the phrase. Scorpions (band)
Scorpions are a German rock band formed in Hanover in 1965 by guitarist Rudolf Schenker. Since the band's inception, its musical style has ranged from hard rock, heavy metal and glam metal to soft rock. The lineup from 1978 to 1992 was the most successful incarnation of the group, and included Klaus Meine (vocals), Rudolf Schenker (rhythm guitar), Matthias Jabs (lead guitar), Francis Buchholz (bass), and Herman Rarebell (drums).
