Mohan (actor)
Mohan (born 23 August 1956) is an Indian actor, known for his works predominantly in Tamil cinema, and a few Kannada, Telugu and Malayalam films. He is also known as "Kokila Mohan" after his debut film '' Kokila'' (1977), and "Mic Mohan" from numerous roles playing singers using microphones. In 1982, he received the Filmfare Award for Best Tamil Actor for his work in '' Payanangal Mudivathillai''. Career Mohan was introduced to the world of theatre by B. V. Karanth, who spotted him at a restaurant. Mohan's first stage play was praised by critics from places like Delhi. Mohan was introduced to the cinema industry through Kannada film industry by Balu Mahendra in his movie '' Kokila'' in 1977 alongside Tamil actor Kamal Haasan. Swapna (actress)
Swapna Khanna is an Indian actress who worked in Malayalam, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Hindi films from the 1980s and early 1990s. She was named Swapna, formerly Manjari Dhody, by Anil Sharma. Swapna began her career with the P.G. Viswambharan directed '' Sangarsham'' (1981) and thereafter acted in several Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language movies. She also appeared occasionally in Bollywood films like ''Teri Meherbaaniyan'', ''Dak Bangla'', ''Hukumat'', ''Izzatdar, Janam Se Pehle'' and others. She guest starred in the Aditya Pancholi-starrer ''Qatil'' (1988). Srikanth (1970s Actor)
Srikanth (19 March 1940 – 12 October 2021) was an Indian actor who has performed in around 200 Tamil films since his debut in 1965. He is also referred to as Venniradai Srikanth. He has played the lead hero in around 50 films between 1965 and 1979 and has also played supporting roles in films with actors Sivaji Ganesan, Muthuraman, Ravichandran and Jaishankar in the lead roles. In the late seventies to early nineties, he appeared as a villain opposite actors including Sivakumar, Rajinikanth and Kamal Haasan. Film career (1965–2009) Srikanth was employed in the American Consulate before his career in the film industry. Srikanth was given his break as the lead hero by C. V. Gangai Amaran
Gangai Amaran is an Indian music composer, singer, lyricist, writer, film director and actor in Tamil films. Personal life Gangai Amaran was born in Pannaipuram in Theni district, Tamil Nadu in December 1947, as the youngest son of Daniel Ramaswamy and Chinnathayi. He is the younger brother of noted music director Ilaiyaraaja and father of director and actor Venkat Prabhu and actor, composer and singer Premji Amaren. He had two more elder brothers, R. D. Bhaskar and Pavalar Varadharajan, both who died long back. Composers Karthik Raja, Yuvan Shankar Raja, singer Bhavatharini and costume designer Vasuki Bhaskar are his relations.
