Jacob Ruppert
Jacob Ruppert Jr. (August 5, 1867 – January 13, 1939) was an American brewer, businessman, National Guard colonel and politician who served for four terms representing New York in the United States House of Representatives from 1899 to 1907. He also owned the New York Yankees of Major League Baseball from 1915 until his death in 1939. Starting out in the family brewing business, Ruppert entered the 7th Regiment of the New York National Guard in 1886 at the age of 19, eventually reaching the rank of colonel. While he was the owner of the Yankees, he purchased the contract of Babe Ruth and built Yankee Stadium, reversing the franchise's fortunes and establishing it as the premier club in the major leagues. James Ruppert
The Easter Sunday Massacre occurred on Easter Sunday, March 30, 1975, when James Urban Ruppert fatally shot eleven members of his own family in his mother's house at 635 Minor Avenue in Hamilton, Ohio. Ruppert was tried and found guilty on two counts of aggravated murder, but not guilty on the other nine counts by reason of insanity. He received two life sentences, to be served consecutively at Allen Correctional Institution in Lima, Ohio, and the Southern Ohio Correctional Facility in Lucasville, Ohio. On July 25, 1982, a 3-judge panel found Ruppert guilty of aggravated murder on a separate case involving his mother and brother. But shortly afterward, he was found not guilty on other 9 counts of murder by reason of insanity. He was moved to Franklin Medical Center in Columbus, OH in 2019 because of his declining health. Michael Craig Ruppert (February 3, 1951 – April 13, 2014) was an American writer and musician, Los Angeles Police Department officer, investigative journalist, political activist, and peak oil awareness advocate known for his 2004 book ''Crossing The Rubicon: The Decline of the American Empire at the End of the Age of Oil''. From 1999 until 2006, Ruppert edited and published ''From The Wilderness'', a newsletter and website covering a range of topics including international politics, the CIA, peak oil, civil liberties, drugs, economics, corruption and the nature of the 9/11 conspiracy. Stefan Ruppert (born Ma 19) is a former German politician of the Free Democratic Party (FDP) who served as a member of the Bundestag from the state of Hesse from 2009 until 2013 and from 2017 until 2020. Early life and career After graduating from the bilingual (German/French) branch of the draught school in Frankfurt am Main in 1991, Ruppert did community service with the German Red Cross (DRK) in the field of geriatric care. From 1992 Ruppert studied law, political science and history at the Goethe University Frankfurt and took his first state examination in 1997. Friedrich Wilhelm Ruppert (February 2, 1905 – May 28, 1946) was an SS-TV Obersturmbannführer (equivalent to Lt. Col.) in charge of executions at Dachau concentration camp; he was, along with others, responsible for the executions of captured British SOE agents Noor Inayat Khan, Madeleine Damerment, Eliane Plewman and Yolande Beekman. Ruppert Sanderson Jones (born March 12, 1955) is a former Major League Baseball center fielder. He was the first player selected in the 1976 Major League Baseball expansion draft by the Seattle Mariners. Kansas City Royals Jones was born in Dallas and moved to California as a pre-teen. He played baseball, basketball and football at Berkeley High School in Berkeley, California, earning all-East Bay honors in each sport.
