''Running with the Wolves'' is the debut extended play (EP) by Norwegian singer-songwriter Aurora (singer), Aurora. It was released on 4 May 2015 via Decca and Universal Music. Composition According to Aurora, every song of the EP has a different theme, which she described that there was "a very morbid one, a dreamy one, an animalistic one and then a quite sad one." "Runaway" was released as the lead single of the Extended play, EP on 7 February 2015 through Petroleum Records. The Running with the Wolves (song), title track was released as the second and final single of the album. The song has also been adapted to the film Wolfwalkers (2020) produced by Tom Moore. Aurora (singer)
Aurora Aksnes (born 15 June 1996), known mononymously as Aurora (stylized in all caps), is a Norwegian singer, songwriter and record producer. Born in Stavanger and raised in the towns of Høle and Os, she began writing her first songs and learning dance at the age of six. After some of her songs were uploaded online and became popular in Norway, she signed a recording contract with Petroleum Records, Decca and Glassnote Records in 2014. Aurora gained recognition with her debut extended play (EP), ''Running with the Wolves'' (2015), which contained the sleeper hit " Runaway". Later that year, she provided the backing track for the John Lewis Christmas advert, singing a cover of the Oasis song " Half the World Away". Alex Wharton
Alex Wharton (born 1939), later also known as Alex Murray, was part of the singing duo the Most Brothers with Mickie Most, and later, co-manager and producer of the Moody Blues. Singing and acting career The Most Brothers worked in the famous the 2i's Coffee Bar in London's Soho. They toured the UK with early rock'n'rollers Marty Wilde, Colin Hicks (younger brother of Tommy Steele), the Tony Crombie Big Band, Cliff Richard, the Kalin Twins, and Wee Willie Harris. In 1957 they recorded on the Decca label with "Whistle Bait" and "Takes a Whole Lotta Loving to Keep My Baby Happy" before disbanding the act in 1958. In 1959 Wharton adopted the name Murray and moved into an acting career with the Theatre Workshop company in Stratford, East London, under the direction of the theatre director Joan Littlewood. The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra
The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra (RPO) is a British symphony orchestra based in London, that performs and produces primarily classic works. The RPO was established by Thomas Beecham in 1946. In its early days, the orchestra secured profitable recording contracts and important engagements including the Glyndebourne Festival Opera and the concerts of the Royal Philharmonic Society. After Beecham's death in 1961, the RPO's fortunes declined steeply. The RPO battled for survival until the mid-1960s, when its future was secured after a report by the Arts Council of Great Britain recommended that it should receive public subsidy. A further crisis arose in the same era when it seemed that the orchestra's right to call itself "Royal" could be withdrawn. In 2004, the RPO acquired its first permanent London base, at Cadogan Hall in Chelsea.
