Running In The Family (song)
"Running in the Family" is a single released in 1987 by the British band Level 42, from the album '' Running in the Family''. It was then popped up for the release of the single which had significant success, reaching #6 on the UK Singles Chart and #9 in New Zealand, but only reaching #83 in the United States. It was part of a series of single successes by the group and brought Level 42 fame in countries where they were previously little-known, such as the United States, Germany and Norway. Music video The music video was recorded on a multi-coloured platform, which rotated in the same manner as a vinyl record. It features all the contemporary members of the band: Mark King, Mike Lindup, Boon Gould and Phil Gould. The musicians take turns in switching between "active" when they are performing, and "inactive", where they stand perfectly still as if a colored statue, when they are not. Level 42
Level 42 is an English jazz-funk band formed on the Isle of Wight in 1979. They had a number of UK and worldwide hits during the 1980s and 1990s. Their highest-charting single in the UK was " Lessons in Love", which reached number three on the UK Singles Chart, and number 12 on the US ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart, upon its release in 1986. An earlier single, " Something About You", was their most successful chart-wise in the United States, reaching number 7 on the ''Billboard'' Hot 100 chart. After much success as a live and studio band in the 1980s, Level 42's commercial profile diminished during the early 1990s following a series of personnel changes and musical shifts. Hitlisten, also known as Tracklisten, is a Danish top 40 record chart that is updated every Thursday midnight on the website hitlisten.nu. The weekly Danish singles chart Track Top-40 combines the 40 best-selling tracks from legal music downloads and the sales of music singles on either CD or vinyl. José Galisteo
José Antonio Galisteo García (born 24 February 1977 in Viladecans, Barcelona, Spain) is a Spanish singer. He was a contestant in the fifth season of the Spanish reality television series '' Operación Triunfo'', where he placed finalist. He has since gone on to record a 2007 best-selling disc, ''Remember'' and a follow-up album in 2009 called ''Luces y Sombras'', Wish (2013) and "I Believe in You" (2014) Biography Jose Galisteo, the second of three children in a working-class family, was passionate about music from an early age, began music studies at ten years old. ''Record Mirror'' was a British weekly music newspaper between 1954 and 1991 for pop fans and record collectors. Launched two years after the ''NME'', it never attained the circulation of its rival. The first UK album chart was published in ''Record Mirror'' in 1956, and during the 1980s it was the only consumer music paper to carry the official UK singles and UK albums charts used by the BBC for Radio 1 and ''Top of the Pops'', as well as the US ''Billboard'' charts. The Official New Zealand Music Chart ( mi, Te Papa Tātai Waiata Matua o Aotearoa) is the weekly New Zealand top 40 singles and albums charts, issued weekly by Recorded Music NZ (formerly Recording Industry Association of New Zealand). The Music Chart also includes the top-20 New Zealand artist singles and albums and top 10 compilation albums. The ''Billboard'' Hot 100 is the music industry standard record chart in the United States for songs, published weekly by '' Billboard'' magazine. Chart rankings are based on sales (physical and digital), radio play, and online streaming in the United States. The weekly tracking period for sales was initially Monday to Sunday when Nielsen started tracking sales in 1991, but was changed to Friday to Thursday in July 2015. This tracking period also applies to compiling online streaming data. Radio airplay, which, unlike sales figures and streaming, is readily available on a real-time basis, is also tracked on a Friday to Thursday cycle effective with the chart dated July 17, 2021 (previously Monday to Sunday and before July 2015, Wednesday to Tuesday). The Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI) is an umbrella organization that keeps track of virtually all aspects of the music recording industry in Italy. It was established in 1992, when major corporate labels left the previously existing Associazione dei Fonografici Italiani (AFI).
