Running Water Draw is an ephemeral watercourse about long, heading about west-northwest of Clovis, New Mexico, and trending generally east-southeast, into Texas, to join Callahan Draw at the head of the White River about west of Floydada and northeast of Lubbock. Curry County is a county located in the U.S. state of New Mexico. As of the 2010 census, its population was 48,376. Its county seat is Clovis. The county is named in honor of George Curry, territorial governor of New Mexico from 1907 to 1910. Curry County comprises the Clovis, New Mexico micropolitan statistical area, which is also included in the Clovis–Portales combined statistical area. It is located on the far eastern state line, adjacent to Texas, forming part of the region of Eastern New Mexico. Clovis is a city in and the county seat of Curry County, New Mexico, Curry County, New Mexico. The White River is an intermittent stream in the South Plains of Texas and a tributary of the Brazos River of the United States. It rises west of Floydada in southwestern Floyd County at the confluence of Callahan and Runningwater Draws. From there, it runs southeast for to its mouth on the Salt Fork of the Brazos River in northwestern Kent County. Besides these two headwaters, which rise near Hale Center and in Curry County, New Mexico, respectively, other tributaries include Pete, Crawfish, and Davidson Creeks. Floydada ( ) is a city in and the county seat of Floyd County, Texas, United States. West Texas
