Runcorn State High School
Runcorn State High School is a government funded school located in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. It was established in 1986 and has a population of about 1150 students in Years 7 to 12 (aged 12 to 17), 90+ teaching staff, and 40+ support staff. Students are sorted into pastoral care groups within their year levels and populate from 20 - 25 in each group. The PCs are simply named as consecutive letters. There are four sporting Houses which are: Selsey (Yellow), Tarsett (Green), Nathan (Red) & Sirett (Black). Compulsory subjects; through all year levels include Maths and English. In the junior school, students must also study SOSE, Science, Physical Education and a language. Students have other options such as drama, media, art or business. Nicholas James Vujicic ( ; born 4 December 1982) is an Australian American Christian evangelist and motivational speaker of Serbian descent, born with tetra-amelia syndrome, a rare disorder characterised by the absence of arms and legs. Early life Vujicic was born in Melbourne, Australia, in 1982 to Dušanka and Borislav Vujičić, Serbian immigrants from Yugoslavia. He was born without fully formed limbs and he was bullied at school because of it. At one point, he tried killing himself by drowning in his bathtub but it did not continue. Cameron David Bairstow (born 7 December 1990) is an Australian former professional basketball player. He played college basketball for the University of New Mexico before being drafted 49th overall in the 2014 NBA draft by the Chicago Bulls.
