Runaway GO
Runaway GO are a Northern Irish indie pop band formed in 2011. They have self-released six singles to date with the most recent, "I Would Go", released in October 2013. History Formation and early years (2006-2011) Javed Love, Chris Jackson, and James Lappin initially formed the band, initially under the name Kagura, in 2006. Fiona O'Kane was subsequently asked to front the group and was later joined by school friend David Jackson after he impressed with his vocal harmonies. Kagura performed sporadically at local venues in Belfast and released two well-received demo EPs in 2007 and 2009. The band's early successes included reaching the finals of the JD Set Unsigned and Road to V competitions in 2007 and performing showcase gigs for Channel 4 in both instances. A period of transition from 2010 to 2011 saw the band change name twice, performing for a short time under the moniker Phoenix Fire before settling on Runaway GO. Pop music is a genre of popular music that originated in its modern form during the mid-1950s in the United States and the United Kingdom. Elbow are an English rock band formed in Bury, Greater Manchester, in 1997. The band consists of Guy Garvey (lead vocals, guitar), Craig Potter (keyboard, piano, backing vocals), Mark Potter (guitar, backing vocals) and Pete Turner (bass guitar, backing vocals). The Frames
The Frames are an Irish rock band based in Dublin. Founded in 1990 by Glen Hansard, the band has been influential in the Dublin rock music scene. The group has released six studio albums. In addition to Hansard, the band's current line-up includes original member Colm Mac Con Iomaire, Dave Hingerty, Joe Doyle, and Rob Bochnik. Jeffrey Scott Buckley (November 17, 1966 – May 29, 1997), raised as Scott Moorhead, was an American singer, songwriter, and guitarist. U2 360° Tour
The U2 360° Tour was a worldwide concert tour by rock band U2. Staged in support of the group's 2009 album ''No Line on the Horizon'', the tour visited stadiums from 2009 through 2011. The concerts featured the band playing "in the round" on a circular stage, allowing the audience to surround them on all sides. To accommodate the stage configuration, a large four-legged structure nicknamed "The Claw" was built above the stage, with the sound system and a cylindrical, expanding video screen on top of it. Indie Pop
Indie pop (also typeset as indie-pop or indiepop) is a music genre and subculture that combines guitar pop with DIY ethic in opposition to the style and tone of mainstream pop music. It originated from British post-punk in the late 1970s and subsequently generated a thriving fanzine, Independent record label, label, and club and gig circuit. Compared to its counterpart, indie rock, the genre is more melodic, less abrasive, and relatively angst-free.
