Runar Sjåstad
Runar Sjåstad (born 28 August 1968) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. In the 2001, 2009 and 2013 elections he was elected as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Finnmark. He hails from Vadsø. 2011 Norwegian Local Elections
Nationwide local elections for seats in municipality and county councils were held throughout Norway on 12 September 2011. Several municipalities also opened the polling booths on 11 September. For polling stations this meant that two elections, the municipal elections and the county elections ran concurrently. In addition, an advisory referendum was held in Aust-Agder to determine whether to merge the county with Vest-Agder. Overall, the Conservative Party made the greatest gains, and the Labour Party also advanced and remained the largest party. Finnmark (; se, Finnmárku ; fkv, Finmarku; fi, Ruija ; russian: Финнмарк) was a county in the northern part of Norway, and it is scheduled to become a county again in 2024. Ragnhild Vassvik Kalstad (born 21 June 1966 in Gamvik) is a Norwegian politician for the Labour Party. She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Finnmark during the term 2009–2013. Finnmark County Municipality
Finnmark County Municipality ( no, Finnmark fylkeskommune, sme, Finnmárkku fylkkagielda) was the regional governing administration for the old Finnmark county in Norway. It was dissolved on 31 December 2019 when Finnmark county was merged into Troms og Finnmark county starting on 1 January 2020. The administration was located in the town of Vadsø and was led by a county council. The last mayor of the county was Runar Sjåstad from 2007 until 2019. Since 1975, the county council of Finnmark was a democratically elected body with a wide range of responsibilities for the whole county. These responsibilities included economic and social development, construction and maintenance of county roads, upper secondary education, dental services, and cultural services.
