Run for Cover Records is an American independent record label based in Boston, Massachusetts. Founded in 2004 by Jeff Casazza at the age of 17 with a $1,000 loan, the label functioned as a small one-person bedroom operation in Brighton, until Casazza graduated Suffolk University in 2010. Known for working with undiscovered young bands from all over the world, RFC can be credited for helping launch the careers of Tigers Jaw, Modern Baseball, Title Fight, Citizen, Turnover, Pinegrove, Basement, and many more, as well as working with already notable acts like Alex G, Camp Cope, mewithoutYou, Teen Suicide, and Nothing. History 2004–2010 RFC was largely operated out of multiple apartments while Casazza attended Suffolk University. ''Let the Rhythm Hit ’Em'' is the third studio album by hip hop duo Eric B. & Rakim, released on June 19, 1990. The group's sound develops further, with Rakim adopting a deeper, more aggressive tone of voice, and more mature and serious subject matter. Musically, the production ranges from smoother soulful tracks such as "In the Ghetto" to the hard-edged assault of the title track "Let the Rhythm Hit ’Em." The back cover features a dedication to the memories of Rakim's father William and producer Paul C., who had worked on many of the album's tracks before his murder in July 1989. Paul's protégé, Large Professor, completed his work; however, neither receive credit in the album's notes. Blitz Kids (rock Band)
Blitz Kids were an English alternative rock band originating from Nantwich and Crewe, Cheshire, England. History The band was formed in 2006 by original members Joe James, Jono Yates, Nic Montgomery, Billy Evanson and Eddie Hawx. The band was initially named "Rig Up Explosive", but the name was changed to Blitz Kids in 2009. The name meaning was explained to be inspired by Joe's grandfather who was in a gang who named themselves 'Blitz Kids' during the events of World War II. The band released two EPs on LAB Records, ''Scavengers'' and ''Decisions'', prior to their debut album ''Vagrants and Vagabonds''. Evanson and Hawx left the band because of personal issues in 2012. Joni Amelia Fuller is an English singer/songwriter, pianist, violinist and composer from Lancashire. She is the founder of Your Strings Attached. Her debut album, ''Voices'', recorded in October 2006, contained 12 of her original songs. Fuller scored two successive wins in the UK's national Make it Break it Songwriting Contest (2008 and 2009) with her songs "America" and "Change Girl". Early years Fuller persuaded her parents to buy her a violin for her 5th birthday. ''Remixed'' is a remix album by KJ-52, featuring a reggaeton mix of '' Behind the Musik''s "Jesus", "47 Emcees (Plus 18 More Mix)" which reimagines the originally beatbox-driven track with multiple layered beats, each corresponding to the verse's genre; East Coast, West Coast, old school, and Dirty South, and an angst-driven, Linkin Park-inspired nu metal remix of hit "Are You Real?" featuring an emo rock hook provided by Falling Up's Jessy Ribordy. Basement Jaxx are an English electronic music duo consisting of Felix Buxton and Simon Ratcliffe. The pair got their name from the regular club night they held in Brixton, London, UK. They first rose to popularity in the underground house scene of the mid-1990s, but would go on to find international chart success and win Best Dance Act at both the 2002 and 2004 BRIT Awards.
