Rumo Von Ramstein
Rumo von Ramstein (died ca. 1300) was abbot of the Abbey of Saint Gall from 1274 until 1281. The monk Rumo was a member of the noble family of Ramstein. He was camerarius, sacristan and deacon under the leadership of Abbot Berchtold von Falkenstein (1244-1272) and his immediate successor, Heinrich III von Wartenberg (1272-1274) until the death of the latter.''Georg von Wildenstein.'' Sumaila is a historic town and the headquarters of a Local Government Area in Kano State, Nigeria. History Sumaila was established as a Jobawa (Jobe- Fulani) 'Sansani' or Settlement in the 1740s. Located within the fertile plains of south eastern Kano, it provided the clan an easy migratory pathway to the grazing grounds of the savannah of eastern Hausa land. Originally called 'Garun- Sam'ila' after one of its first settlers, it attracted little attention during the time of the Sultanate. The sharp rise of Jobe influence in eastern Kano in the late 18th century saw the construction of a stockade and a partial fort around the town in the 1750s. ''Rumo and His Miraculous Adventures'' is a fantasy novel, written and comically illustrated by German author Walter Moers. Plot introduction The events of this novel take place on the fictional continent of Zamonia, which is also featured in Moers' previous novel '' The 13 Lives of Captain Bluebear''. While ''Rumo'' is not a prequel to ''Bluebear'', the two do have many parallel events and returning characters such as Volzotan Smyke, Professor Nightingale, and Fredda the Alpine Imp.
